Run Happy Intro to Trail

Thinking about giving trail running a go? Join us for a fun, social evening on the Peak District trails around Hathersage and discover why Run Happy loves trail just as much as road.
In partnership with Inov8, we'll be offering free demo shoes so you can experience trail running in the right footwear, whether you're completely new to trails or looking to try something different.
Date: 29th June 2026
Location: The George, Hathersage
Arrival: From 6:30pm
Run Start: 7:10pm
Choose from two route options:
5-7km – ideal for beginners and those new to trail running
10-12km – for runners looking for our usual MNT experience
After the run, join us back at The George for a FREE pint, chat with fellow runners, and be in with a chance of winning some Inov8 giveaways.
Mandatory Kit
Trail running shoes (Inov8 demo shoes will be available for anyone who needs them)
Waterproof jacket (weather dependent – a final decision will be communicated closer to the event)
Places* are limited, so book early and get stuck in with some trails!

By getting a ticket, you are accepting that you are responsible for your own safety whilst running with Run Happy
